The WiSA Hybrid Module incorporates radio telemetry into WiSA's most versatile interface.
This unit has the ability to have a total of 4 outputs and 4 inputs as well as incorporating SDI-12 & RS-485 communication into the one unit.
The WiSA Hybrid Module can be configured for nearly any situation and also has the ability to think for itself. If the units are required in certain situations for generic control or repetitive tasking (such as water tank levels for cattle troughs) the units can be programmed with different parameters to maintain tank heights, flow volume or mixing water to a desired EC & pH. This programable feature allows constant calculation and accuracy within the unit itself updating every second whilst still updating the base station regulary.
The WiSA Output Module is designed primarily for pump sheds and remote satellite stations.
It can be either solar powered or run on 24VAC (common irrigation voltage). It is ideal for situations where solenoids in the field are cabled back to a central location.
Hydraulic control tubes can be terminated at a pressurised manifold and latching coils used for solar control. Alternatively irrigation control wire can be wired back to a central pump shed. This central location can either be permanently powered (240V) or solar. The module has the ability to control up to 8 ouputs or solenoid coils including pump start and stop.
The Output Module has SD1-12 & RS-485 communication abilities built in so it can talk to a range of sensors including temperature probes, weather stations and soil moisture probes (see probes and sensors).
The WiSA Radio Solenoid Module is most commonly used product for distance communication to irrigation valves.
The WiSA Radio Solenoid Module has the radio module, 3 ouput latching solenoid capability and solar regulator built into the one board. It also has the ability to host expansion boards for communcation to sensors and probes using the RS-485 and SDI-12 communication protocol. This includes equipment such as soil moisture, Weather Stations, EnviroSCAN Probes and Temperature sensors.
The Radio Solenoid Module is best suited for areas where up to three irrigation control valves are clumped together and soil moisture or environmental data is required.
The WiSA Radio Solenoid Module comes complete ready to install with a mast, 5 or 10 watt solar panel (so even the cloudy weather can be beaten), radio module, 7.2 amp/hr battery and weatherproof enclosure.
