Projects
WiSA from its inception has been a Research and Development for the Hardware (Electronics) and software for the Agricultural sector, Building and Construction eg. Green rooves, Landscaping – grey water and sewage applications.
Over the years with declining water supplies WiSA has diversified into all facets of refined water application and has our system management operating to suit Climate Changes anywhere in the world.
We have worked in the Middle East and Thailand doing ongoing research and development of our product to operate in harsh conditions etc. We have a world class product and are leading the way in this technology.
The signing of contracts in the Middle East will be a great boost to WiSA Australia, Rural Victoria and Australia. The income derived from these Projects will build employment opportunities and grow the local business.
WiSA uses local Echuca based companies in the production and supply of its products and with an WiSA Office in South Australia which designs electronics, and writes software for our product range, the actual production of the electronics is produced in Adelaide.
The stage one of the first Project will be in conjunction with Burdens Australia a 75 year old company from the UK, WiSA is the Environmental working partner of Burdens, Burdens support WiSA in extremely large projects around the world and within Australia.
At the Big 5 trade show in Dubai last November 2008 we met the Directors of the Island of Kish, an Iranian sovereignty, they had issues that no one else could help them with.
We visited Kish. Worked through the feasibility of the project and answered their issues with a solution to each. Since then we have emailed and spoken and from stage 1 ($17.9 million AUD) we have a return to us of $2.5 Million AUD.
Now the project has grown to the entire island and we will be working with GHD for building and construction and WiSA will look after the Water Management, Desalination, Bore, underground storage and Waste Waters.
They would also like us to set up a Green Waste system so they will have fertile soils to add to the landscape.
We will be undertaking the training of the local people to adopt environmental changes and bring the Island to a tropical paradise.
WiSA is currently at the Biig 5 Trade Show Dubai 2009
